Long-distance move from Callicoon, NY to Liberty, SC

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!

I contracted my move with Gateway Movers out of Florida. THEY sub-contracted without telling me, to One Way Van Lines. The movers arrived 3 hours late, but the truck was packed properly,(by midnight), or so I thought. The movers told me AFTER the truck was full that they needed to get to Maryland to OFFLOAD my things in their warehouse. When my things finally arrived at my destination, (10 days after my move), boxes were torn, 3 tables were broken, my clothing wardrobes were delivered UPSIDE DOWN and then heavy boxes were placed INSIDE and on top of my clothing. Hangers were broken, clothing arrived so wrinkled I had to have EVERYTHING rewashed and ironed. Boxes were missing, my hand truck was missing, most of my Waterford was broken, boxes were wet and falling apart and to top it all off, they broke my TV, (which was properly packed in a TV Flat screen box with extra bubble wrap and pillows).....the delivery movers went into my kitchen cabinets and STOLE a jar full of quarters, (for use at the Laundromat), and the jar had approximately $125.00 in it. When I called them up about the grievance, they told me to call the police. QUESTION: What are the police in South Carolina going to do about money stolen from me....by people who work for a company in Maryland? I was even handed things by the movers that had fallen out of the boxes during the offload! How do my things just fall out of a securely taped box? With boxes being ripped open, there is no doubt how this happened!

Presently, I have called GATEWAY to see if they can offer any help with this situation, and they're not even answering the phone!!! I have called 3 days in a row and over 4 times!!!

My husband and I are senior citizens! We put our trust in a company to move us. Gateway, who is the company that I hired, handed it off to One Way Van Lines. As I opened boxes and found irreplaceable things completely destroyed, I was devastated. How does one begin to replace antique ceramic and glassware once owned by my grandparents, and brought over SAFELY from Europe? They even managed to destroy a PAINTING! They broke the frame and tore it away from the frame. How does something like that happen??? Wish I could have included photos!

DO NOT EVER....I repeat DO NOT EVER use this company. They handed off the job to someone else, which I did not expect or know about, and now they won't due me the courtesy of even just answering the phone! Being forewarned is being forearmed!

Lynne and CJ...thanks a lot for nothing! GATEWAY...you are running a scam that will catch up to you someday. You acted as if you cared about this move. You only cared about that ALMIGHTY DOLLAR!

Gateway express moving contacted my newpnew steve about our move from Dallas Texas to Edgewater florida. I have made many moves before. ( I am Pryor military and have been stationed in 4 different states.) I can say these guys know what there doing! They came in took photos of his and the kids furniture, before they even wrapped it. Thought that was pretty professional. They also gave a copy of the photos to my nephew. They also were great with informing myself and my newphew on the status updates. I only spoken to them once, however Daniel made a point to reach out toe as well. Overall you guys Rock and we paid under $5,000 fr a almost full 26ft truck! 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Job # M377300.

Local move within Indiana

Doubled price; subcontracted move.

After getting a quote for $4000 to move from Indiana to Florida, Gateway subcontracted the move after my $900 payment. All American Movers showed up at 10:30 at night, packed stuff that didn't need any packing and rewrote the contract to $8000 for the move. Signed new contract under duress at 2:00 am!! Complained to Gateway for a week but they finally said they couldn't do anything. Wish I had picked another company.

Official company response

Hi Joseph,

There were more details included in this move that are worth mentioning. First of all there were 2 Pickup Addresses and 2 Drop off Addresses which is highly unusual. We made all necessary arrangements to make that happen for you. As far as the bill increase, there were some additional items added to your move at one of your 2 pick up locations, these items added on the pickup, obviously will increase your final bill. We can walk you through the weight ticket and your final inventory sheet and figure it out together. I will have CJ call you in the morning.
We look forward to resolving your issue.

Best Regards,

Tom Moore.

Long-distance move from Quincy, MA to Port Orange, FL

All ? Job.

I moved recently From Quincy Massachusetts to Port orange Florida. I was skeptical at first because the move that I made previously from Florida the Massachusetts didn’t go so well. The last company charge me quite a bit for packing materials I had damage furniture so I really wasn’t thrilled to use a company and honestly consider doing it on my own. After speaking with Gateway they gave me a price on this move that was fantastic, unbeatable I would’ve spent about the same price if I did this move on my own. The move & The movers were very professional they did a great job at wrapping all of our furniture, I thought it was great that they provided photos and the official DOT inventory sheet, which included every possession I own that I put on the truck. At drop off they went through everything thoroughly with me, they made sure that all my furniture arrived in the same exact condition as it left Ohio in. Hopefully I don’t end up moving again this is my third time now moving back and forth from Massachusetts. But if I do make a move, or if one of my friends or family doesn’t get moving. I’m going to recommend gateway express movi The movers were very professional they did a great job at wrapping all of our furniture, I thought it was great that they provided photos and the official DOT inventory sheet, which included every possession I own that I put on the truck. Stay Away From Gateway!!

I received a sales call from Brian regarding my move from PA to FL. He lied from the very beginning. He told me Gateway was a family owned door to door moving company. He never mentioned being a broker. He lied about entire moving process, and about how I would be charged. He said payments would be based on a weight estimate, and the final payment would be the buffer estimate weight minus the weight of my things at 52 cents per pound. It has now been almost 3 weeks of me living in an empty apartment. Not only has everyone at Gateway been not helpful in the slightest, they won't return phone calls or emails from me. The company they hired, is holding my belongings hostage now until I pay. The kicker is they told me now that I'm liable, and have to pay, for whatever the estimated weight was, in total, instead of by the pound and weight of what my things actually weighed. They admitted it is under weight, but I signed a "binding ESTIMATE'. Also, I am being forced to pay a $566 shuttle service fee even though the HOA said it is not an issue, I've seen other 18 wheelers in the lot, and neighbors have confirmed as well. I've spent close to $2000 in the last couple weeks just buying things to help me live down here. I packed my car, and suitcase, expecting a delivery within days, not weeks. I had to buy clothes, toiletries, pet supplies, household essentials, and have spent lots of money eating out at restaurants because I have nothing in my kitchen to cook or eat with. Luckily, I packed an air mattress. The emotional stress has tarnished what is supposed to be a very exciting time in my life. I don't want anyone else to fall victim to these scammers!

Official company response

Hi Kristi,

First of all, I'm happy that you were delivered safely on Saturday !! The move took 18 days instead of 5-10 days. Our movers typically go about 200-250 miles a day. You did not have a designated truck, which means that the driver stopped and picked up other customers, all of our clients are made aware that this reduces your fuel charge. For instance, your fuel charge was only $185 to move 1100 miles. Your weight was 3965 on the estimate, you actually weighed 3640 a difference of 325 lbs less. So the carrier should lower your final bill by $169.00.
I will try to work this out for you . Thank you for choosing Gateway Express Moving.

Long-distance move from Annapolis, MD to San Diego, CA

Honest people!

Me and my fiancé made a move from Annapolis Maryland to San Diego California. We contacted Gateway Express, it was quick and easy, I felt very comfortable after speaking with the rep & setting my move up. The move it self was very easy, I forgot to grab a mattress cover, however the mover just gave me a mattress cover & did not charge me! The only Hiccup we had was that out television got misplaced. Gateway went over and beyond to resolve my issue, it was left behind in the storage unit. Gateway worked with me day in and day out and got my television back to me, I was very happy with the service I received, I was more than happy with how stress free the process to find me TV, I can’t thank Tom and Cj enough for there honesty, hard work, and dedication they put in to make sure my fiancé and I were taken care of! I will def be using Gateway Express Moving again, I am in the military, who knows where I will be stationed next!

Long-distance move from Brockton, MA to Gainesville, FL

Happy Customer!! ?

Recently I move my daughter from Brockton Massachusetts to Gainesville Florida. Go Gators! She didn't have a whole lot, a two-bedroom apartment the movers had her loaded and we're on the road to Florida within 2 hours! The only complaint I have is that the truck arrives in Florida one day late. However they delivered on every other promise they made us, they actually over delivered. The move went without a hitch. They were very professional, they worked hard, we had great communication from the moment we were picked up until my daughter was arrived. The movers actually reassembled all my daughter's furniture and set her bed up for her which I thought was pretty cool and unique, I've moved a lot and have not had a company completely disassemble and reassemble. All my daughter had to do is pack her own boxes. I will definitely be using Gateway Express moving again ?

Happy customer ?

Gateway Express moving recently moved my daughter from Brockton Massachusetts to Gainesville Florida, she's a freshman in college, go Gators! The guy showed up and had her two bedroom apartment completely loaded and we're on the road to Florida within 2 hours. The only complaint is the truck arrived today late in Florida, instead of two days they arrived on the third day. However Gateway / delivered, I put my trust into Gateway, I'm not going to lie I was skeptical at first after reading some of the reviews. I was just told as long as we gave the movers an honest inventory, exactly what will be loaded on the truck that the move will go smooth. And by God the move went smooth without a hitch, they even reassembled my daughter's bed and set up all of her furniture did all the heavy lifting. All she had to do is pack her own boxes. Use Gateway Honest Company. Tom the owner went over and Beyond the stain communication about the truck showing up a day late.

Long-distance move from Albany, NY to Daytona Beach, FL

Highly Satisfied Customer!

I just recently helped move my aunt into a manufactured home from Albany NY to Daytona Beach Florida to be closer to her mother because of ongoing health issues with dementia. Once we found out she needed somebody to stay with her I contacted many moving companies. I got a bunch of phone calls from “a million” different companies. One company that contacted me was Gateway Express Moving. I’m very happy I took their phone call out of all the others. From hello, Gateway was very professional, thorough. In a nutshell they made me feel comfortable in my decision to help move my aunt Debbie.

Not only was the customer service and communication great, the movers went over and beyond for my aunt. They even went as far as wrapping her fragile items that were going into boxes because she did not have the proper materials. They did this for her at no extra charge. The only complaint that I have is that the guys took a little long to unload and assemble the furniture in the mobile home in Florida. Which is understandable because the movers did not have much space to work with. However my aunt wanted me to add this in because this is the only complaint she had. Aside from that, she highly recommends you stop wasting your time, hours speaking with other companies. Gateway is completely capable of delivering and going over and beyond. I will definitely be using them again.

P.S. Ryan, the twins are going to be adorable.

Cancelled Contract- Business will not Refund or Contact Us.

We had submitted a quote online and were pleased to find out that the service was veteran owned. Being a veteran myself, I chose to pursue a move with this company. Due to complications surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, we chose to cancel our contract before the 72 hour window. This contractually guaranteed us a refund of our deposit, less 10%.

It has been 10 days now and the company has not returned our deposit, nor have they returned an email or phone call-despite leaving several messages on multiple occasions.

I am disappointed that this is a veteran owned company and will be doing my due diligence in spreading this scam to the veteran network.

Long-distance move from Mobile, AL to Colorado Springs, CO

I beg you stay away!!

On 6/02/2020 We recieved a phone call from Gateway express moving LLC following up with moving estimate. Brandon Smith states that he had guys in the area and that we would get a great deal on a move.(which is apparently a common lie they tell everyone) He quoted us a price 2,024.39 for the entire move from Mobile, Alabama to Colorado Spring Colorado stating that a deposit needed to be made to reserve and that 50% of the price would need to be paid at pick up and the remaining would be paid once our furniture is dropped off. That they were movers through gateway express and would handle our belongings with care. We confirmed this with Brandon multiple times and he agreed that everything would go smoothly and as planned. We paid the deposit which was $742.11 paid on 06/05/2020. Brandon continued to follow up with us over the next couple of days for our scheduled move on 06/12/2020. We spoke multiple times both adding and removing items on our list to help accommodate price. He continued to reassure that it would be 50% at pick up and remaining at drop off. I calculated my funds accordingly because I still had to get my family of 5 to Colorado. Everything seemed great up until the day of the move. The movers arrived and at that's where things took a turn for the worse. The driver from MAPS moving came in along with 2 very young children who were helping him move. One can only assume his kids. One looked to be about maybe 14 or 15 and the other 8 or 9. The driver came in and immediately stated he was rewriting the contract and demanded to that we pay 70% right now. I explained to him that we were only supposed to be paying 50% he began stating it's 70% and when I began to get visibly upset he then started telling me to call gateway express they are the ones who handle it not him. Us still not realizing that he isn't employed through them we called Brandon. Brandon was unavailable and we had to speak with CJ who confirmed we should only be paying 50%. We told him that gateway express was still stating we should only be paying 50% the driver then walked around the corner to call his customer service for MAP moving. A women from maps moving then called our phone. That is when we actually found out that the company was contracted out to MAPS moving! She immediately had a agitated tone. The first words out of her mouth were "Ma'am all we want to know is do you have the money to pay" that immediately upset me because she cut me off and didn't allow me to even explain what my concerns were. I told her I wanted to pay what was agreed upon, She then proceeded to tell no, me it had to be 70% and they had control over the contract and could do what they want! While she was still on the phone we then began trying to contact gateway express again in which they were no longer answering any lines. A man then got on the phone from MAPS . By this time my wife is on the phone crying. He begins screaming at her " WHAT DO YOU WANT US TO DO MAAM I DONT CARE ABOUT WHAT YOURE SAYING. Either you're going to pay the money or not!!" I told them I would if they honored the 50% he laughed and screamed “Forget it she’s too problematic, we’re not moving her” and they left. they were not able to fulfill their obligation and what was agreed upon. Hours later after trying Multiple number for gateway I got ahold of customer service where she stated she would send someone else the next day and reassured us AGAIN we would only pay 50% because she was getting a company who would honor it. They never called us back to confirm the new movers or a time. They next day the movers showed up without notification and only called once he was there. I told the driver weSomeone on the way. He said he didn't want to wait because he had already been there for an 2 hour. Once some arrived at the house (which was about 30 min he had already left! my neighbor pulled her door cam that showed he had only actually been there about 30 mins and left. After contacting gateway again they stopped answering the phone. We called multiples times everyday, left voicemails, even sent emails requesting a refund due to them not being able honor what they said and we still haven't heard from them since. Also the contract is no longer visible in our email they completely removed it and I can only now see my receipt from the deposit I paid Contract 3787880

All they do is lie and prey on ppl who don’t know any better. We ended up having to come back from Colorado pack the house onto a budget truck because it was all we could afford at that point and drive 19 hours back to Colorado.

Scam company.

I paid the deposit to reserve a move from CA to TX. Then I go through all the comment online and feel insecure to move my piano and everything with them. I cancelled the move within 48 hours. Base on the contract they should refund me the deposit. I send them a email for cancellation as they required. And I still have not received my refund of deposit after 2 weeks. I called them this morning. All they can say is this is with front desk, this is with finance department. I am going to go small claim court and get my money back! Trust all negative reviews. The company is a scam!

Long-distance move from Pahrump, NV to Daphne, AL

They are Moving Brokers, dishonest from the start. Stay Away!!

This is not a moving company. They contract with other movers around the country and you have no say in who is moving your belongings. This move was for a retired veteran and his wife, (my Mom and Dad.)

1) Gateway Express was dishonest from the start selling me on all the reasons why I should move by weight and not m3. At the load out in Nevada they contracted with "Champion Movers, LLC." who did not show up with a weighed truck and changed the contract to m3, with Gateway Express blessing, nearly doubling the cost of my move.

2) We did have additional items but nowhere near double. I was not on location and they had my sister sign the paperwork and at no time was anyone given permission to sign for me. The contract was with me, no one else. Gateway Express nor Champion Movers even attempted to call me and tell me about the change in billing method.

3) I sent multiple emails to Gateway Express and Map Moving, who somehow got involved, asking how they could legally change the billing method from weight to m3. Map Moving assured me the move was by weight, even though I had paperwork from the load site showing it in m3. I asked for paperwork showing weights multiple times and none was ever produced by Map Moving, Champion Movers or Gateway Express.

4) At the delivery in Daphne, AL, they contracted with Map Moving & Storage. Their people did a good job getting things unloaded and in the right places.

5) "Everything is insured, if we break anything in boxes we packed or any furniture, etc. is damaged, it is fully covered and will be replaced." This is an absolute lie! A coffee table was broken beyond repair and a curio cabinet had glass broken in it. Not bad for a cross country move. In the end though, you are dealing with Map Moving & Storage for insurance and not Gateway Express, none of which has ever been mentioned by Gateway Express. Map Moving & Storage does not cover any type of furniture made from compressed wood, so this was our loss. On the curio cabinet they offered $40, telling me I could replace the glass. When I explained to them they broke the glass and they should replace it, they did not respond. In addition, you could only receive the $40 if you signed a form agreeing to never review them negatively on a list of sites they covered, including US Government sites.

6) Needless to say, the reviews are worth much more than $40 to me. Bottom line, STAY AWAY, in my experience, an entirely dishonest operation taking advantage of retired veterans.

Long-distance move from Colorado to Florida

Run away

If you are looking for a reputable moving company that will stand by their word and make your move easy, stress free and painless....keep looking. These guys claim to be veteran owned and operated, and claim they care about other veterans. They also claim to own their own trucks. None of this could be further from the truth. They are brokers. They will tell you that they will beat anyone's pricing and they will in fact quote you a fair price. Then the trickery begins. They'll ask for a pretty decent deposit to "make sure they can get you on their schedule", what this really means is they are selling your contract to an actual moving company and they want to get paid, your deposit is how they get paid. They'll schedule your move for the absolute last minute of your desired schedule, meaning if you have to be out of your house by the 5th and give them a window of the 1st-5th, they'll make sure whomever buy the contract shows up on the last day of your time frame. This allows them to pull the next trick, the movers that show up will inform you that Gateway misquoted your move. Now your quote has doubled, because someone "new" at Gateway didn't prepare the list properly. It's always someone brand new. So now with the clock ticking for when you need to move out of the house you just sold, you'll attempt to call Gateway and even though you're calling during normal business hours, your call will go unanswered. So you call from your friends phone and they pick up right away. You explain that there has been a mistake and they will transfer you to CJ. Now they know you're on to them and while transferring you, the receptionist gives CJ the heads up, straight to voicemail. You call back multiple times, but now they know your friends number so you use another friends number, and the cycle starts all over. CJ is on the other line, here's his voicemail etc. So now you start calling other moving companies and of course nobody has availability because of course its last minute and you had no idea that this veteran owned company was going to screw over another veteran. So I said [EDIT] it, pack it all up and shame on me for not doing more research. You pay half of the new price and they load up your stuff. You move to the new state, buy your house and now you're ready for your stuff to be shipped. LAMO, Here is the next trick. You can only pay the remaining balance with cash or a postal money order, which BTW has gone up an additional amount bring your total move up to 3 times your original quote. Now you're extremely pissed but you want your stuff and you schedule your delivery. And of course the movers that show up to deliver are a) with a third company and b) show up on a Sunday so you can't call Gateway or Safeway (the 2nd moving company involved). They won't unload your stuff until you pay them first. They claim this is to protect them from working for free. You pay them and they start unloading your stuff into the house and garage. All of your furniture is now damaged because these movers use box cutters to remove the blankets and packaging that you paid extra for to protect your furniture. They finally produce your paperwork to you after everything has been shoved into the entry of the house or the garage. Part of why you hired movers, was because you were told they would set up furniture and place boxes in the rooms that you wanted. Not during the pandemic though even though you paid for that service. So you quickly start trying to do inventory while they are closing up their trailer. Unfortunately you just moved a 5 bedroom house with 4 kids across the US, so they leave before you have time to finish comparing the numbered stickers on the boxes and your list that they gave which is BTW super faint because it is the 5th carbon copy of the paperwork. 16 missing boxes later, all of which were labeled (home theater, blu rays, collectible pint glasses) of course those were "lost" [EDIT] thieves. Stay as far away from these clowns as possible. Get a POD, pack it yourself and save yourself a huge headache and lots of money.

Long-distance move from Buffalo, NY to El Paso, TX

Amazing company, excellent experience! A++.

I made a long-distance move from Buffalo New York, all the way down to El Paso Texas. The movers showed up on time, they were professionals, collard shirts, khaki pants, booties on there feet. and my husband Arthur and I were shocked at how quickly they were able to pack up my entire four bedroom house, with a shed 236 feet in the backyard (from the front door) NO extra charge! I was getting extremely high prices because of the location I am all the way up in Buffalo. And then it seemed like no movers were too happy about going very south in Texas to El Paso, ( I can understand why, it’s basically Mexico) but Gateway came thru!! The overall experience was great from start to finish! There back end did a fantastic job keeping me updated from start to finish! Would highly recommend these guys to everyone I know!! Thank you Gateway!! ( out of my entire load which filled an entire 26ft truck, only 1 lamp was damaged) I can’t blame Gateway, if Arthur ( my husband) packed a little better, my lamp would be fine! A++ rated company! Super friendly, smart , hard working, reliable movers!

Long-distance move from Arlington, MA to Green Mountain Falls, CO

Good Job.

Picked Gateway Express after I received a fair quote and checked reviews. The quote we received was fair compared to a few other companies. When the day of the move came, the movers gave us a heads up a few hours before arrival which I greatly appreciated. They arrived when they said so too which made things easy for me. They worked hard despite working in the hot sun when the temperature was close to 90 that day. They were very considerate, wrapping things that needed extra protection during the move. Nothing major broke except a few coffee mugs which wasn’t a big deal. The rest of my furniture and kitchenware made it without damage. Gateway Express was a pleasure to work with.

Best Moving Experience!

Best moving experience hands down. Moving is usually stressful for me, things can get broken, movers can be late, etc. However, Gateway was awesome from start to finish. Brian was super informative when we signed up. The movers were great too. They arrived on time and made sure to wrap everything that could have been broken during the move. They moved everything so fast and were careful in doing so. I recommend Gateway Express Moving for anyone looking to move. Best company I’ve used.

Good Job.

Satisfied with the move. The crew was timely and professional. They took caution when moving everything so nothing got damaged. Probably the easiest move I’ve done. I’ve hired other guys who were a bit of a drag to move with. These guys were fast though. This move was also cheaper than I remember the last one being. Thanks for the great service Gateway, I’ll give you guys a call if I happen to move again.

Long-distance move from Chicago, IL to Long Beach, CA

Do Not Book.

I would give this company negative stars if I could. First of all I booked this company three months ahead of my move and a week later I tried to cancel. They would not refund me any of my $800 deposit despite being months away from the move and this costing them nothing, and they gave me the run-around about a refund for a month. I stayed with them because I did not have a choice. Their truck which is Actually United Moving who they broker for, kept pushing the dates of my move until the last day I was in my apartment per the lease agreement. At that point I had to take what they gave me. They brought an unweighed Uhaul, tried to get me to sign a change of estimate without a new estimate given, and claimed that my move was huge. I had no appliances, no couch, no table, just a queen mattress set, some boxes (far less than I had originally told them for the estimate) and some bookshelves. Ryan told me they had overestimated my move so there would be no overage fees (he added 26 boxes), I only subtracted from the estimated move in both square footage and weight. I was not over in weight, and because this is not my first cross country move I measured everything just in case. I called Gateway the second that the movers refused to weigh or measure the load for me..no response. I called them to follow up..no response. When the movers kept pushing out the delivery date to nearly my first day of employment at my new job I called Gateway..no response. When the movers finally came and claimed that my load was an extra 700 by weight (and they had accidentally forgotten to tell me that despite me calling them every day), and I noticed that they had not actually weighed the load and that their driver had made changes to the receipt which no longer matched my original receipt, I called Gateway..no response. I am a student finishing up a PhD so I can diagnose and treat Veterans at the VA for Alzheimer's disease. I make less than 25,000 a year at my brand new job in California, which if you live in California is nothing, and after all that talk about how Tom is a Veteran, all I can say is the Veterans I know would be ashamed of the behavior of this company. I have heard nothing from Gateway even though I sent them an email proving the moving company charged an overinflated price by the square foot, and had not charged me by weight as is appropriate for cross country moves and my contract. COnveniently my contract disappeared on the day of delivery. I also provided the actual measurements for my job, which I took just in case the movers behaved shadily. Nothing, no response from them. I was overcharged on a move I already could not afford but had to go through with because they refused to return my deposit, and that loss would have broken me financially. Despite all of the nice words from their sales, this is not white glove delivery, and they do not care about you or your stuff (most of which will arrive scratched and dented by the way).

I would love it if you guys would deign to return one of my many calls and emails.

Satisfying Move !!

We just moved from New York to Charlotte with Gateway Express and couldn't be happier. The moving team easily moved us out of our home that had a flight of stairs. They had no problem moving heavy items up and down those stairs and didn’t bump into the walls despite how narrow the staircase is. Gateway Express made moving easy for us and the price was outstanding!

Excellent Work !!

I had a simple move from Savannah to Charlotte. Lynne helped us set up the move taking down our inventory and followed it up with a sweet price. Others were quoting us close to $6500 but she gave us a price of $4500. CJ gave us a quality assurance call to verify our inventory was accurate 3 days before our move day. I appreciated this level of verification on behalf of Gateway Express.

A Class Service !!

We just moved recently and had an AWESOME experience. They were so careful with all of our stuff. They were on time, polite, and actually enjoyable to be around. We’ve moved a handful of times and I can say this was the best experience we have ever had. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We are thrilled to have hired this company. Major kudos to the team. We are impressed with Gateway Express.

Good.

Excellent moving company! We got a call from Brian and he helped us work through the details of the move. He took an inventory of what we were moving and based the price off of that, so it was very fair. Beyond the price, the move went great. The movers arrive on time and get the job done fast. They make sure to wrap items that could get damaged. We didn’t have anything break. This company is the best!!

Awesome.

We finished up our move a few weeks ago. We were very impressed with the moving team we received. They worked basically without stopping. They were extremely careful with our items. They wrapped and taped everything up, they also used moving blankets for the move too. Thankfully all the big items were transported safely, no scratches or dents from what I can see. We are big fans of this company.

Good choice.

So this was the first time I decided to hire a moving company, and Gateway Express did not disappoint. The move was very quick, they did a good job moving our stuff considering they had to deal with stairs. CJ really took the time to guide me and answer all my questions that I had a few days prior to the move. I recommend this company to anyone, thanks Gateway Express!
